How To Join Starlink Beta Testing

2

Starlink is a project started by SpaceX, a company run by Elon Musk. The main aim of Starlink is to provide internet access in each and every corner of the world. The project development began in 2015.

A group of artificial satellites will be launched in the orbit which will revolve around the Earth. These satellites could be seen by the naked eye. Starlink wants to send around 30,000 satellites. So far, first 60 satellites have been launched in the orbit. Starlink will deliver high speed broadband internet to locations where access has been unreliable, expensive, or completely unavailable.

Instead of sending internet signals through electric cables, which must be physically laid down to reach far-flung places, the satellites will work by beaming information through the vacuum of space, where it travels 47% faster than in fiber-optic cable.

Starlink’s satellites will be able to carry large amounts of information rapidly to any point on Earth, even over the oceans and in extremely hard-to-reach places where fiber-optic cables would be expensive to lay down. This will help in solving a lot of problems which big internet providing companies have to face. This will also tackle the problem of weak internet signals. A large number of satellites will be revolving around the Earth which will ensure that the internet is provided to everyone and anywhere.

Starlink will start providing its internet services in the Northern U.S. and Canada in 2020 and will expand to near global coverage of the populated world by 2021. Starlink has also began recruiting beta testers to test its internet services. As of now, beta testing in only available for users in Northern U.S. and Canada. You can sign up for beta testing by clicking on this Starlink’s link. You will have to enter your email address and the postal code. Then you will get detailed information about the Starlink’s project. Only a few beta testers will be selected by the Starlink’s management. So, do not waste any time and sign up for beta testing.
