Google Bans 25 Apps from Play Store

Google has recently banned 25 malicious apps from Play Store which were discovered by a French cyber-security company. If you have any of these apps on your devices, delete them immediately.

These apps targeted a famous social media site Facebook. Every time when a user launches the Facebook, these apps used to mimic the login page of the Facebook which looked quite similar to the original one. When the users entered their credentials, the data was sent to the hackers, depriving people of their private information.

These apps are no longer available on Play Store but if you still have any of them in your smartphone then you should immediately remove them. Moreover, Google also removed 50 malicious apps last month due to the same problem.
